CSA Steaua, made up of Maria Boldor, Malina Calugareanu, Andreea Gheorghe and Anca Seanu, was defeated in the semifinals by the Spanish team Cardenal Cisneros Club 45-43.
Romania's Jitaru wins gold at European Boxing Championships Under-22 in Targu Jiu
Romanian pugilist Robert Jitaru (aged 22) won on Sunday the gold medal in the men's 56-kg category at the European Boxing Championships Under-22 in Targu Jiu, after having previously won the title last year in Braila.
