Broadway to require vaccinations, masks for audience members

Met Opera cancels fall season
The Metropolitan Opera canceled its fall 2020 performances on June 1 and postponed several new productions to future seasons as the coronavirus continues to wreak havoc with New York's cultural life.

Broadway shutdown extended
The shutdown on Broadway has been extended again — until at least early September.
Although an exact date for performances to resume has yet to be determined, Broadway producers are now offering refunds and exchanges for tickets purchased for shows through Sept. 6.
