Today, cumulus clouds will develop and there will be brief rain showers and thunderstorms in many places.

The phenomena will be intense in places in South-Eastern Bulgaria. A moderate north-northeasterly wind will blow in the eastern regions.

Daytime temperatures will drop slightly and the prevailing maximum will be between 14 and 19 degrees Celsius, in Sofia around 15°C.

The cloudiness will be significant, around and after noon cumulus. There will be rain showers, accompanied by thunder in many places. The phenomena will be more intense in the mountainous regions. The wind in most of the country will be oriented from the northwest, in the eastern regions - from the southwest, it will be weak to moderate.

Sunny weather will prevail before noon. After noon and until midnight, mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop and in some places short-term rain accompanied by thunder will fall. A light to moderate southerly wind will blow. It will warm up a little more and the maximum temperatures will be between 18°C and 23°C, in Sofia - around 19°C.

Minimum temperatures between 4°C and 9°C, in Sofia - about 5°C, and maximum - between 14°C and 20°C, in Sofia - about 14°C.

Today, temperatures will drop by 5-7° Celsius. Cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop over the country. Significant precipitation is also expected.

Friday will be mostly sunny. There will be temporary increases in cloudiness before noon over Eastern Bulgaria, and in the afternoon - over the central regions and in the mountains. It will be almost without precipitation. A light east-northeast wind will blow and with it the daily temperatures will decrease a little, the prevailing maximum will be between 30 and 35 degrees.

In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop, but only in isolated places, mainly in the mountainous areas, it will rain and thunder for a short time. The wind will be light, in the eastern regions to moderate northeast wind.

Yellow code for strong wind is in force for 13 regions of the country today, according to a reference on the NIMH website.

These are Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik and Kardzhali. In these areas will blow temporarily strong wind from west-northwest up to 20-22 m /s.
