Photography exhibition "Curtrea de Arges - retrospective," with pictures from the AGERPRES archive

The photography exhibition "Curtea de Arges - a retrospective," with pictures from the AGERPRES archive will be varnished on Thursday at the Basarabilor Hall at the Curtea de Arges Municipal Museum. The exhibition includes 30 photographs showing Curtea de Arges, with the oldest ones showing the church built at the order of Neagoe Basarab dating back in 1938.

The coffin with the remains of Queen Mother Helen was placed on Friday in the historical Archdiocesan and Royal Cathedral of Curtea de Arges. The funeral procession from Bucharest stopped in front of the new cathedral, where dozens of people were waiting, including local officials.

The procession has been welcomed at the Palace by tens of sympathizers of the Royal House, who brought flowers and tricolor flags. The Royal family will pray at the catafalque.
