Cybersecurity bill to be tabled next week

The draft law on cybersecurity will be tabled in the relevant parliamentary committees next week, so that "there will be one body in charge of all the organizations and services - both public and private - that will protect us from attacks," Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou said on Friday in an interview with Skai TV.

National Intelligence Service to launch cybersecurity center

The Greek National Intelligence Service's (EYP) new cybersecurity center will be launched in September, EYP sources have said.

The Security Operation Center (SOC) will operate within EYP's Cyberspace Directorate and will be tasked with monitoring, detecting and responding to cyber threats and security breaches of the country's government digital infrastructure.
