Almost half check job emails while on vacation, survey shows

Ljubljana – A survey by pollster Mediana suggests that almost half of Slovenians check their job emails during vacations. This was admitted by 46% of the respondents, with 15% saying their employer expects emails to get answered despite them being on holiday. The majority do not alter their mobile phone use when vacationing, the poll also showed.

NBI boss confirms charges filed over Covid emergency procurement

Ljubljana – Petra Grah Lazar, director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), has confirmed for the news portal Siol that the bureau has referred to the prosecution a criminal complaint in an abuse of office investigation into the purchases of personal protective equipment and ventilators during the early stages of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Delphi Economic Forum postponed because of coronavirus fears

The coronavirus outbreak, with four confirmed cases so far in Greece, has caused the postponement of the 5th Delphi Economic Forum.

The Forum, scheduled for March 5-8, will now take place at the end of May or the beginnning of June, according to the Forum organizers.
