The Foreign Affairs Ministry joins international condemnation of the malicious cyber activities targeted at the Microsoft Exchange Server and the hacking campaign of the APT40 group.

Bitdefender researchers have discovered a group of Romanian cyber attackers who remotely infect computers and servers across the globe, from where they then illegally mine cryptocurrencies, according to a company statement sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.

According to Radio Free Europe, referring to the world media, this comes after the first man in America warned Moscow that it would face a proportionate response if the hacker attacks continue.
After meeting with top cybersecurity advisers on Wednesday, Biden said he would "deliver" Putin's response to a wave of ransomware attacks on US companies.

This was announced on the blog of a cybercrime gang known as REvil, Reuters reported.
Allan Liska, from the cybersecurity company Recorded Future, confirmed that the message is authentic, as well as that the cyber gang has been using that blog since last year.

Ljubljana – Improving cybersecurity across the EU will be one of the priorities of Slovenia’s EU presidency during its six-month stint in the second half of the year. Uroš Svete, head of the country’s Information Security Administration, says Slovenia will strive to improve the exchange of information among member states and boost security culture.

Luxembourg – Public Administration Minister Boštjan Koritnik attended a session of the EU’s Telecommunications Council in Luxembourg on Friday to present Slovenia’s EU presidency priorities in digitalisation. He said that Slovenia was placing digitalisation, development of artificial intelligence and cyber security high on the agenda.
