ADMIE management to visit Cyprus for talks on ‘Great Sea Interconnector’
The management of the Greek Independent Power Transmission Operator (ADMIE) will visit Cyprus on Tuesday for contacts with Cypriot and Israeli authorities over the electricity interconnection between Cyprus, Greece and Israel, called the "Great Sea Interconnector."

ENI discovers more gas off Cyprus

Agreement reached on Aphrodite
The Cyprus government and US energy company Chevron have successfully concluded negotiations on the development of the Aphrodite gas field, marking a significant breakthrough, according to a report by The Associated Press.
The Aphrodite gas field, the first to be discovered beneath the seafloor off Cyprus, is estimated to hold 4.2 trillion cubic feet of gas.

Greece-Egypt power link on EU’s list
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy (DG Energy) has announced that it has been proposed that the power interconnector planned by Greece and Egypt, dubbed GREGY, be included in the European Union's list of Projects of Mutual Interest (PMI).
The list is expected to be endorsed by the European Parliament and the European Council within the next two months.
