Ankara condemns deal between US national guard, Greek Cypriots
The Turkish government has condemned an agreement between the National Guard of the State of New Jersey and the Defense Ministry of the Greek Cypriot Administration, calling on the U.S. to consider its policies concerning Cyprus.

Ankara condemns US for lifting arms embargo on Greek Cyprus
Türkiye has strongly condemned the expansion of the scope of the decision taken by the U.S. in September 2020 to lift the arms embargo on Greek Cyprus, the Turkish Foreign Ministry has said.
In a statement issued on Sept. 17, the ministry highlighted that the country "fully supports" the reaction of Turkish Cyprus authorities regarding the decision.

A major gas discovery in the Cronos-1 field, block 6 offshore Cyprus has been announced by energy companies TotalEnergies and ENI.
According to ENI's official announcement, preliminary estimates in the Cronos-1 field of block 6 indicate the existence of 2.5 tcf of natural gas.
