Turkish Cypriot leader to pay first visit abroad to Ankara
The newly elected president of Turkish Cyprus, Mustafa Ak?nc?, will pay his first official customary visit abroad to the Turkish capital city of Ankara this week.
Ak?nc?, who took oath on April 30, will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Özdil Nami during his one-day visit on May 6, the press office of the Turkish Cypriot presidency said over the weekend.
Cyprus leaders' meeting postponed until next week
A first meeting between Mustafa Ak?nc?, the new Turkish Cypriot leader of northern Cyprus, and Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiades has been put off from May 2 until next week, the Greek Cypriot government said April 29.

Presidents of Two Cypriot Republics to Meet, Revive Reconciliation
The President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and his newly elected Turkish Cypriot counterpart Mustafa Akinci will meet on Saturday in attempt to revive talks on possible reconciliation.
It is expected that the two presidents will discuss the resumption of negotiations ahead of a new round of UN-mediated talks on reunification of the divided island.
