‘House of the Dragon’ renewed for second season

HBO has announced that the "House of the Dragon" fantasy drama would return for a second season, after the "Game of Thrones" prequel debuted to nearly 10 million U.S. viewers.

Set years earlier in the same universe of George R.R. Martin's books, "House of the Dragon" depicts the glory days of the ancestors of popular "Thrones" characters, such as Daenerys Targaryen.

Tier A actors in Game of Thrones, aka the highest-paid level, includes the show’s lead actors, including Emilia Clarke (who plays Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister). Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (aka Jaime Lannister) and Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) are also included in this tier.

Of course it needed to be an appropriately strong follow-up to season six classics like "The Winds of Winter" and "Battle of the Bastards". But beyond that, it needed to be a great episode because "Dragonstone" marks the beginning of the end.

Jay Z buys Beyonce a unique gift

Jay Z gave his wife, Beyonce, an original gift. The famous rapper bought her a dragon egg that had appeared in the popular show “Game of Thrones”.

 

Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the show said she wanted an egg as well. She characterized them as unique works of art.
