Planes collide in Tokyo, passengers and crew escape blazing fire

A Japan Airlines plane was in flames on the runway of Tokyo's Haneda Airport on Tuesday after apparently colliding with a coast guard aircraft, television reports said.

Five people aboard a Japan coast guard aircraft died Tuesday when it hit the Japan Airlines passenger plane on the ground in a fiery collision at Tokyo's Haneda airport.

Everybody on Plane Survives Crash Landing in Pacific Lagoon

AFP - Passengers were forced to swim for their lives Friday when an airliner ditched into a lagoon after missing the runway on a remote Pacific island and immediately began sinking.

The Air Niugini Boeing 737 was attempting to land at Weno airport in Micronesia but ended up half submerged in Chuuk lagoon after the accident on Friday morning.
