Danube Commission

A project dedicated to the river Danube evaluates three types of scenarios to identify in view of restoration naturally floodable areas of the river and its main tributaries, the Romanian Waters National Adminisration (ANAR) informs, on the occasion of the International Danube Day, marked each year, on June 29.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu visited on Thursday the Budapest headquarters of the Danube Commission, expressing on the occasion his belief that in the coming years, the Commission member states will succeed in modernizing this organization so that it be able to make a more substantive contribution to the development of transport in Europe, informs a release of the Ministry of Fore

BELGRADE - Serbia will chair the Danube Commission for the next three years, Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released on Thursday.

This is yet another confirmation of Serbia's changed international position and its reputation in the international community, the release states.
