The Economy Ministry together with the Sofia University will take part in a research concerning cruise tourism opportunities along the Bulgarian stretch of Danube river.

Peak water level in Belgrade expected Saturday night
BELGRADE – The water levels on the Danube and Sava rivers in Belgrade are expected to reach their peak during the night between Saturday and Sunday, but there no risk of flooding in the Serbian capital’s central municipalities, Belgrade emergency directorate chief Rade Milosevic said Saturday.
Water from Obrenovac could subside in five days
BELGRADE/OBRENOVAC - The water from the flooded Belgrade municipality of Obrenovac may subside in around five days and as of Sunday, the level of the Sava River may be expected to drop, the National Emergency Management Headquarters stated at the session on Friday.

Sava, Danube pose no threat to Belgrade
BELGRADE - There are no threatened areas in Belgrade, the Danube level increased by two centimeters in the last 24 hours, while the Sava level went up by one centimeter, Milos Milovanovic, director of the public water management company Beogradvode, told Tanjug on Friday.

The increasing levels of Danube river will not affect shipping, however some of the quays are at risk of being flooded, Bulgaria's Transport Minister Danail Papazov said, Tuesday.
Romania Belatedly Offers Help To Flooded Neighbours
Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced on Monday that Romania is to offer food, blankets and water to people in neighbouring Serbia and to Bosnia and Herzegovina in an effort to help flood victims.
Bucharest is also to send anti-flood pumps to the affected areas.

The Danube Continues to Rise, Floods a Fishing Village Near Ruse
The level of the Bulgarian stretch of the Danube river continues to rise and flooded a fishing village near Ruse.
According to the Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube, the level at Ruse rose by half a meter overnight and passed the 7-meter mark.
