Israel starts exporting natural gas to Egypt under landmark deal

Israel began exporting natural gas to Egypt on Wednesday under one of the most important deals to have been signed by the neighbors since they made peace decades ago.
A private firm in Egypt, Dolphinus Holdings, will purchase 85 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas, worth an estimated $19.5 billion, from Israel's Leviathan and Tamar offshore fields over 15 years.

Energean hopes to supply Israeli gas to Cyprus

Energean Oil & Gas said on Tuesday its Energean International unit submitted an application to import and supply natural gas to Cyprus starting in 2021.
In its application to Cypriot authorities, it said it sought to supply gas through a pipeline from the Karish block off the coast of Israel to Vassiliko in Cyprus.

Energean awarded four new Israeli offshore licenses

Greek oil and gas group Energean was awarded four new Israeli offshore licenses in Israel's exclusive economic zone, the company said on Wednesday.
"Energean has identified a prospect within Zone D analogous to the prolific Tamar Sand fields (Karish, Tamar, Leviathan etc) offshore Israel," Energean said, referring to existing discoveries.

Energean discovers 28-42 bcm of natural gas off Israel

Greek energy firm Energean has made a vast discovery of 28-42 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the North Karish field off Israel's northwest coast, the company said on Monday.
The discovery is located not far from the company's floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit, which aims for a total export capacity of 8 billion cubic meters per year.
