He pointed out that this Government did not have even 100 minutes, not a hundred days, and that Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapi has his support.

All that, as he wrote on Twitter, they are doing with the goal of calling new parliamentary elections.

His dismissal was supported by the votes of 43 opposition MPs and ruling Black on White coalition MPs. The other two ruling majority blocs, For the Future of Montenegro and Peace is Our Nation, did not support his dismissal.

Successive governments under the control of current President Milo Djukanovic signed similar agreements with smaller religious communities in the country (Catholic, Islamic and Jewish), but not with the SOC, with which it developed an increasingly confrontational relationship in the last decade.

Media reported that some protesters who gathered near the police station were singing nationalistic songs and chanting: "Serbian Sparta has been waking up, this country will not become Turkey."

In the elections in Nikisic, the three blocs comprising the current ruling majority in parliament won 23 of the 41 seats in the assembly. The For the European Niksic coalition, led by the Djukanovic's DPS, won 18.

On Wednesday, leaders of the Front, the largest coalition in the ruling majority, warned the government that if it did not adopt the law and dismiss the special state prosecutor, it will not vote for the state budget or other law proposals.

Medojevic was taken from the Assembly to the Spuz prison, near Podgorica.

Medojevic was jailed on the order of the president of the Higher Court Boris Savic, because he has been for several months refusing to give a statement in a case against him.

The ruling Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS, party won most votes in ten out of 12 municipalities on Sunday, but will only be able to form an administration on its own in five of them.

The preliminary results show that the DPS, run by the country's veteran leader Milo Djukanovic, secured an absolute majority in the capital Podgorica for the first time since the early 2000s.
