Isa Mustafa to succeed Thaci?
Official results of early parliamentary elections in Kosovo have not yet been announced, with two leading parties, the Vetvendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), not yet agreed on key positions in the future government, with media claiming that part of the coalition agreement is that Isa Mustafa should replace Hashim Thaci.

Kosovo Election Winner Vetevendosje Seeks Coalition Partner
Talks on forming a new government in Kosovo are due to start soon after the opposition Vetevendosje party came first in Sunday's snap parliamentary elections.
The party has made clear it wishes to seek to form a coalition government with another former opposition party, the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK.

Kurti stated that from today he is starting to work on creating a new Government with him as Prime Minister.
"We have worked hard, we have been engaged for a long time, but it all pays off because every sacrifice is worth for our beloved citizens. We considered it our obligation and we will get the country back on the right track", Kurti said.

Kosovo's two biggest parties - the Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK, of parliament speaker Kadri Veseli and Isa Mustafa's Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, will run alone, as will Vetevendosje, or Self-Determination, led by Albin Kurti. If LDK wins, Kosovo will get its first female prime minister in Vjosa Osmani.
Thaci already "written off"?
According to "Blic" report, carried by Tanjug, it does not mean that the deadline will not be extended as many times before, but the "Kosovo issue" is being pushed in that direction. Hashim Thaci's party is worse off than ever, and if the West plays to other options, negotiations over the fate of Kosovo and Metohija could change drastically, according to "Blic".
