Committee: International community should protect Serbs
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament's Committee on Kosovo-Metohija discussed on Tuesday the current security situation in the province and adopted conclusions urging the international community to act in line with its mandate and ensure security for all Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).
Albanians demonstrate against arrival of displaced Serbs
PRISTINA - Several hundred ethnic Albanians in the Musutiste village in the south of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) has blocked the passage to the local Orthodox church to prevent displaced Serbs from Suva Reka and the surrounding villages from getting there to celebrate the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God.
Office for Kosovo-Metohija condemns Gnjilane incident
BELGRADE - The Office for Kosovo-Metohija has vehemently condemned the stoning of the house and the car owned by the Serb family Nojic in Gnjilane, eastern Kosovo-Metohija, demanding that the Pristina authorities find the perpetrators as soon as possible.
Event in Vienna marks ten years since March pogrom in KiM
VIENNA - A solemn event under the slogan “The pogrom in Kosovo - never again” has been held in Vienna to observe ten years since the Albanian pogrom against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).
The event, held at the Serbian Embassy in Vienna late on Thursday, was organized by the Serbian educational and cultural society Prosvjeta and the Association of Serb Clubs in Vienna.
Memorial service held for KiM pogrom victims
PRISTINA -Bishop Teodosije of the Diocese of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija served a memorial service at the St. Nikola Churć in Pristina on Monday for the Serbs killed in the pogrom by Albanian extremists in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) ten years ago.

Dacic: Perpetrators of pogrom should be brought to justice
BELGRADE - Ivica Dacic, prime minister of the caretaker government, said on Monday that the international community in Kosovo-Metohija has the duty to bring to justice the perpetrators of the pogrom against the Serbs which took place 10 years ago.

BELGRADE - Serbia will never recognise the independence of its southern province and for the Belgrade government, both the current and the future ones, Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) will remain a part of the Republic of Serbia forever, the Serbian government Office for KiM underscored once more, six years after the unilateral and illegal declaration of independence by Kosovo.
