NSI: A Record Number of Foreigners Visited Bulgaria in August
In August 2019, the number of trips of Bulgarian citizens abroad decreased slightly from the record high in July, but the visits of foreigners to our country reached a new historical peak, data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) show.

624 Million Euro Were Transferred into the Country from Bulgarians Abroad for just the First Half of the Year
According to Bulgarian National Bank data, 624 million euro has been transferred to Bulgaria from Bulgarians living and working abroad in the period from the beginning of the year until 30 June, 2019, BNR reported. The biggest sums have been transferred from Germany, USA and Spain. In some households the money transfers from abroad are for no less than 1,200 euro a year.
Bulgarians Plan to Travel more in 2019
Bulgarians plan to travel more in 2019, which is an increase of 8% compared to 2018. According to this year's Masterindex poll, 66% of respondents plan to travel outside the country.

Gallup Survey: Half of the Bulgarians Think that the State Is to Blame for Their Problems
About half of the Bulgarians believe that the state is to blame for their problems. This way of thinking is more common among the older people, while the younger ones blame themselves for their personal problems more. The data is from a Gallup International survey, part of a sociological agency's monthly research program.
Eurostat Confirmed: Bulgarians Are under 7 Million
The population of Bulgaria has fallen below 7 million since last year and continues to decrease. This is the latest data from an Eurostat analysis according to which the number of Bulgaria's inhabitants was 6 957 642 in 2018. A few months ago, the National Statistical Institute shared similar data.

More than 50% of Bulgarians Are Satisfied with Their Salary
More than half of Bulgarians are satisfied with their salary, and 70% are satisfied with their work. The data is from two studies by Gallup International provided for the Bulgarian National Television and the broadcast # Europe.
It turns out that Bulgarians are more satisfied with their wages and work than average people in the world.
A Bulgarian Opened Four Bulgarian Schools in Spain
A Bulgarian with roots from the village of Kochan in the municipality of Satovcha has opened four Bulgarian schools in Spain, BNT reported.
In 4 cities in Navarre district, over 400 children learn Bulgarian language, literature and history.
The Orpheus BG cultural association, led by Sabi Atipov is also the organizer of the first meeting of the Bulgarians in Pamplona.
