Survey: Bulgarians are Reluctant for Early Elections, Tolerant of Ukrainians despite Rising Prices

Nearly 85% of Bulgarians expect a rise in prices in the coming months, the majority of voters do not see the need for early elections, and do not share the view that refugees from Ukraine are a threat to security, and nearly 60 percent support the change of mandatory to recommended wearing of masks.

Jelšane could accommodate 80-100 Ukrainian refugees

Ljubljana – The Government Office for the Support and Integration of Migrants is preparing a facility at the border crossing of Jelšane, south-west, for Ukrainian refugees. Its director Katarina Štrukelj said that it could accept 80-100 refugees, depending on how many more arrive in the future.

Bucharest: More than 10,000 Ukrainians are in Romania, Thousands Travel to Bulgaria and Hungary

A total of 10,624 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania through the 6 border crossings.

This was announced by Romanian Interior Minister Lucian Bode. He specified that 3600 of them have passed through the country on the way to Bulgaria and Hungary. Of the current 7,000 or so Ukrainians, only 11 have sought asylum in the country, Bode said.
