Iranian citizen who was kidnapped five days ago and rescued by police operation on May 19, was arrested on May 20, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Iranian Kazem Moradi, 43, was kidnapped for ransom and was subjected to torture, Doğan News Agency reported on May 19. 

The driver and the owner of a truck that crashed into a car carrying a chief public prosecutor and his personal driver, who were both killed, in the western province of Denizli were arrested on May 14, Doğan News Agency has reported.   

A chief public prosecutor and his driver were killed in a car accident in the Merkezefendi district of the western province of Denizli on May 10. 

Denizli Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Alper, 48, and his driver Muzaffer Akşehirli were killed when a truck laden with excavations crashed into their car on a highway.

Archaeological excavations in the ancient city of Laodicea, located in the Eskihisar neighborhood in the western province of Denizli and added to the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary list in 2013, are continuing at a 10-meter-long sacred Agora on an area of 35,000 square meters. 

A woman in Istanbul has sued her husband and filed for divorce after she discovered he was sending sexually explicit messages and photos to 2,700 women on social media. 

The woman, A.K., who is an architect, said her husband L.K., a board member at a private hospital, had also been sending sexually graphic photos to hundreds of women. 

A 62-year-old mother from the Honaz district of the Aegean province of Denizli on Dec. 9 was acquitted of charges over throwing a slipper at her 38-year-old son, Doğan News Agency has reported.

A total of 300 Turkish commandos will join Turkey's Operation Euphrates Shield, according to a military source, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.     

The special troops of the 11th Command Brigade departed from the Çardak Military Airport in the western province of Denizli, said a source who spoke on condition of anonymity.      

A stray cat infiltrated into a studio during a live broadcast by local station DRT in the Aegean province of Denizli on Oct. 17, Doğan News Agency has reported.

Some 1.5 million trout belonging to a company have allegedly been killed due to the waste from juice factories on the Menderes River in the southwestern province of Denizli, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported. 

The chief public prosecutor's office in the southwestern province of Denizli has completed the first indictment in the July 15 coup attempt case, against some 60 soldier suspects for their alleged role in attempting to assist the attempted coup.
