Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's highly publicized defamation trial is the subject of a new Netflix docu-series, and the first trailer was released last week.

A Virginia judge on July 13 rejected an effort by actress Amber Heard to set aside the $10 million judgment awarded against her in favor of her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

Depp won a defamation suit against Heard last month in a high-profile civil trial. Heard won a smaller, $2 million judgement on a counterclaim she filed against Depp.

Following his legal victory, Depp said in a statement, “Six years later, the jury gave me my life back … I am truly humbled”

Amber Heard said the "hate and vitriol" she suffered on social media during her libel trial against Johnny Depp was not "fair," but insisted in an interview released on June 13 she did not blame the jury for largely siding with her ex-husband.
