Cyprus' communist-rooted former president critically ill
Cyprus' health ministry says the country's former president Dimitris Christofias is in a critical condition in hospital with respiratory problems.
In a statement Monday, the ministry said Christofias was admitted to Nicosia General Hospital's transplantation unit on Saturday.
US ambassador issues statement in wake of vandal attack

Anti-Corruption Authority chief dismisses allegations against her
The chief of the Anti-Corruption General Secretariat, Anastasia Xepapadea, has denied one more allegation of many over the last days - that she has a seat on the Board of a family business which may constitute a conflict of interest.
