Greece's Foreign Ministry appointed Ekaterini Nassika as the country's new ambassador to Washington and Theodoros Bizakis as new envoy to Ankara, it was announced on Thursday.

Nassika previous post was ambassador to the Russian Federation, while Bizakis was Minister Counselor-Deputy Chief of Mission at the Greek embassy in Washington. 

Bulgaria is among the member states of the European Union that support the delivery of 1 million 155 caliber projectiles to Ukraine for a total value of 1 billion euros, diplomatic sources told the National Radio.

The text of the agreement is almost ready after yesterday's meeting of the ambassadors of the member countries.

In a statement given to "Politika" daily, he said that in addition to US Envoy Matthew Palmer, it is possible that Germany and France would appoint a joint representative, or that each of these countries has a representative.

For the first time, the post will be occupied by a woman.
