Stop Tear-Gas Protests, US Tells Kosovo Opposition
Kerry on Wednesday endorsed the EU-brokered agreements between Pristina and Belgrade, and urged Kosovo's opposition to use democratic methods to express its discontent.
Opposition MPs have repeatedly set off tear gas inside parliament in protest in recent weeks.
But Kerry said that parliament "is not the place for tear gas and it is not the place for intimidation".

Albanian Activists Rally for Kosovo MP's Release
Several dozen activists gathered on Tuesday in front of the Pyramid, a well-known landmark in Tirana, to protest against Kurti's 30-day remand in a top-security jail.
Students, civil society representatives and independent MP Mesila Doda took part in the rally alongside the Vetevendosje (Self-Determination) party supporters.

Kosovo MP Kurti Sent to High-Security Jail
A Pristina court on Sunday ordered Kurti to be held for 30 days in a high-security prison after riot police detained him when they stormed the Vetevendosje party's headquarters the previous day, clashing with its supporters.
The raid followed an opposition rally on Saturday against the Kosovo government's recent EU-brokered agreements with Serbia and Montenegro.

Violence Flares Again in Renewed Kosovo Protests
Pristina saw a second outbreak of protest violence on Wednesday, after a court ruled that Donika Kadaj Bujupi, an MP from the opposition Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, AAK, will be detained for 30 days ahead of her trial.

Protest Violence Erupts After Kosovo MP's Arrest
Protesters threw stones at government offices and police in Pristina on Wednesday during a demonstration sparked by the arrest of opposition MP Donika Kadaj Bujupi, who is accused of setting off tear gas in parliament.
Riot police responded by firing tear gas after the stone-throwing protesters broke windows and damaged the façade of the government building.

Kosovo MP Arrested Over Tear Gas Incident
Kosovo police arrested Donika Kadaj-Bujupi, an MP from the opposition Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, AAK, for letting off tear gas in parliament.
"She was arrested after she left her home," Muharrem Nitaj, an AAK spokesperson, told BIRN.
Kadaj-Bujupi was arrested on Wednesday morning for setting off tear gas inside the chamber and sent to Pristina's District Court.

Kosovo Opposition Force MPs to Flee Parliament
Kosovo opposition MPs again caused chaos on Tuesday at a session of parliament, which was due to approve the 2016 budget.
Opposition MPs, led by the Vetevendosje (Self-determination) Movement, threw teargas in the chamber and in the corridors as well as spraying pepper at security personnel.
