Zuckerberg publicly apologises to families in tech grilling

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave a public apology in U.S. Congress on Wednesday as hostile lawmakers grilled tech chiefs over the dangers that children face on social media platforms.

The executives convened by the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee were put to task in a session titled "Big Tech and the Online Child Sexual Exploitation Crisis."

Minister calls out GD for trying to recruit schoolchildren

Education Minister Costas Gavroglou has denounced neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn for trying to "channel its nationalist poison to high schools."

Speaking to reporters on Monday, he said the "fascists" were trying to recruit pupils through text messages and by approaching them outside schools, urging them to join Golden Dawn-inspired activities in the name of national issues.
