Drivers across Greece being cheated at the gas pump
Attica is not the only Greek region where drivers frequently get less gasoline at the pump than the amounts they pay for.
A December survey by the National Technical University of Athens conducted in Thessaloniki, Patra and Volos showed that one in nine gas stations (11 percent) pumped up to 10 percent less fuel into their customers' vehicles than what they paid for.

Bulgaria Seeks Concessionaire for Sofia Airport
Bulgaria has opened a tender for granting a 35-year concession on Sofia International Airport.
The future concessionaire will be required to pay a one-off concession fee of at least BGN 550 M (EUR 281 M), VAT excluded, plus an annual fee of at least BGN 9.96 M for the term of the concession.

Human Chain Stops Demolition of Former Tobacco Warehouse in Bulgaria's Plovdiv
A human chain of around fifty people stopped the demolition of one of the buildings of the former tobacco warehouses in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv on Monday.
The demolition began on Sunday and caused a major outcry and discontent in the city, with many architects, public figures and citizens protesting it.
