North Korean Soldier, Shot and Wounded, 'Defects to South'
A North Korean soldier defected to the South on Monday after being shot and wounded by the North Korean military, the South Korean military said.
The soldier, who defected via the border village of Panmunjom, was being treated in hospital, the South's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement.

Gunmen attack military camp in Indian-controlled Kashmir
Gunmen attacked an Indian military camp in Indian-controlled Kashmir, officials said. Tuesday. The gunmen believed to be fidayeen (suicide attackers) militants threw grenades and opened gunfire, while making their entry inside the camp early morning in Nagrota, about 281 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
