Russia has launched a series of attacks on targets within Ukraine, employing 17 drones and an Kh-59 missile, according to reports emerging from the region. The strikes, directed from Crimea, have inflicted significant damage, including a devastating fire at an energy infrastructure facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian forces have carried out targeted attacks on critical infrastructure sites in central Ukraine, causing widespread alarm and disruption. The assault, centered around the city of Dnipro, has left at least one person injured and prompted urgent warnings of missile strikes across the country.

In the aftermath of last night's devastating Russian airstrikes on energy facilities, over one million consumers in Ukraine find themselves without power, as reported by a senior presidential official today. The city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, was shaken by a series of explosions this morning, with Mayor Igor Terekhov confirming about 15 blasts. Initial assessments suggest that Russian missile strikes deliberately targeted the city's power infrastructure, resulting in a partial blackout and disrupting essential services.

In Eastern Ukraine, a recent bout of Russian shelling in Dnipro has left four individuals injured and hospitalized, as confirmed by Serhiy Lysak, the head of the regional military administration. The attack also resulted in significant damage to 10 homes.

On the other hand, the Russian army announced that Ukraine carried out 39 artillery strikes on populated areas on the left bank of the Dnieper, within the Kherson region.
During the night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 16 Russian drones over Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, faced a sudden air strike alert this morning, prompting the Bulgarian delegation led by Speaker of the National Assembly Rosen Zhelyazkov to seek refuge in a bomb shelter.

Fighting in Ukraine during the previous day was fought in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and clashes were also fought in Kharkiv and Kherson, in the east and south of the country.
On the other hand, more than 10 drones of the Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Belgorod region in the past 24 hours, with more than 120 shells fired at towns and villages in the border region.

At least seven people were wounded in a Russian missile strike on Ukraine's Dnipro city that damaged residential buildings and water and gas pipes, the local governor said Thursday.

"Powerful explosions occurred in Dnipro in the middle of the night. The enemy hit the city with missiles," Sergiy Lysak wrote on Telegram.

Six of the seven wounded had been hospitalised, he said.
