South Korea's health minister warned of a threat to the lives of patients on Tuesday after medical professors said they might join striking junior doctors engaged in a three-week-long standoff that has plunged healthcare into chaos.
Medical Chamber honoured with Order of Merit
Ljubljana – The Medical Chamber marked its 30th anniversary, and the 130th anniversary of its precursor, the first medical organisation in Slovenia, with a ceremony in Ljubljana on Friday. President Borut Pahor presented it with the Order of Merit for efforts in bringing doctors and dentists together to uphold the integrity of medical profession.

Handful of 3rd country doctors get their qualifications recognised this year
Ljubljana – The Health Ministry has approved five of the 34 applications for recognition of professional qualifications of doctors from third countries that have ben submitted this year, and eight of the 42 applications submitted last year.

Five Bulgarian Doctors are Accused of Draining over BGN 120,000 from the NHIF
