Weather update: Stable conditions until Sunday – The unusual pattern noted by Kolydas
There will be no significant change in the weather until Sunday in our country, according to Thodoris Kolydas. As the EMY director says in a post, “the only “strange” – and to be precise – not so common – is the Retrograde Low which from NE Europe is heading southwest. This is caused by the strong anticyclone covering much of Europe. (Video 1)
Coast guard recover four bodies in sea off Rhodes
Coast guard officers have recovered four bodies, believed to be of migrants, in a search and rescue operation off the coast of Rhodes.
The bodies are those of three men and one woman, according to reports.
At the same time, police have found 25 people on the island.

Gov’t mulls migrant facility on Rhodes to tackle rise in arrivals
The government is considering setting up a migrant detention facility on the island of Rhodes to tackle a rise in arrivals from neighbouring Turkey, Migration Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos has said.
Rhodes yacht repair
A development plan for a mega-yacht repair center on the island of Rhodes was posted for public consultation on Friday, and will remain open to comments until November 11.
The plan, "Development and Utilization of Ship Repair Center and Mega-Yacht Repair Unit," relates to the upgrade of the ship repair center and its expansion in the area of Kanamat, on the Dodecanese island.
