Army dogs undergo tough training

The battalion has been training dogs since 1963. Dogs of 12 different breeds, six of which are local, are produced and raised at the center in Bursa and receive challenging training in eight branches.

More than 200 dogs live in terrible conditions in the shelter in the Vrabnitsa district in Sofia. This is actually adjacent to the clinic building where they send neutered dogs with post-surgery wounds to recover from anesthesia. They are crammed into 30 cells, dirty, without water, light and space.
Bulgarian Police Detained a 46-year-old Man who Shot a Dog
Police officers from Tvarditsa detained a 46-year-old man who caused the death of a domestic dog, the press center of the regional police announced.
The report was made at around 18.00 on November 10 by the 52-year-old owner of the animal. He stated that one of the dogs guarding his farm in the area of Studena voda in the territory of the municipality of Tvarditsa was shot.
