A 49-year-old woman was hospitalized on Wednesday after she was mauled by two dogs in the town of Kalamata in the Peloponnese.

A group of six new-born puppies known as "Malaklı" has left visitors in admiration in the central Anatolian province of Aksaray.
Fatih Dağdaş, the breeder of the Bandogs, said the puppies were born 15 days ago, noting that they need special care particularly in the winter.
Bodrum's 'Golden gang' loses father
Şenol Özbakan, a former ship skipper who lived in a minibus with 12 abandoned golden retriever and Rottweiler dogs that he adopted in the western province of Muğla's Bodrum district, has died of multiple organ failure at the age of 56.
Özbakan, who recently had a lung problem and was at risk of developing cancer, had been receiving treatment at Bodrum State Hospital.
