Turkish defense companies successfully test-fired its domestically produced HİSAR-A missile on Feb. 1 in the Central Anatolian province of Aksaray.

A 49-year-old woman was hospitalized on Wednesday after she was mauled by two dogs in the town of Kalamata in the Peloponnese.

Şenol Özbakan, a former ship skipper who lived in a minibus with 12 abandoned golden retriever and Rottweiler dogs that he adopted in the western province of Muğla's Bodrum district, has died of multiple organ failure at the age of 56. 

Özbakan, who recently had a lung problem and was at risk of developing cancer, had been receiving treatment at Bodrum State Hospital.
