Eurogroup to permit Greece’s exit from enhanced surveillance status

On Thursday June 16, the Eurogroup is expected to give the "green light" for Greece's exit from the status of enhanced surveillance and return to "European normalcy." The political approval of the exit process, which is expected to take place on August 21, marks the official end of the memorandum period for Greece.

Greek PM to meet with President of Cyprus on Friday 17 June

A meeting between the President of Cyprus, Mr Nicos Anastasiades and the Greek Prime Minister, Mr Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is going to be held, next week, according to an announcement by the Press Office of the President of Cyprus.

The meeting is set for Friday, 17 June, at 11:00 am, at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia.

The main issue is the Turkish provocations

The Greek government spokesperson stressed our country's readiness for any eventuality, as far as Turkish provocations are concerned, while he also noted that: "We are not complacent. We have to be ready for any eventuality with Turkey."

New Turkish provocations: Overflights of Greek islands

Turkish provocations in the Aegean continue with new aircraft overflights over Greek islands.

The new Turkish proclivities took place today, Friday morning, at 10.12. after a Turkish UAV flew over Kandelioussa at 19,000 feet.

The challenge is recorded immediately after PM Mitsotakis' visit to Kos, Pserimos, and Astypalea.
