Northern town mayor dies in car accident
The mayor of the town of Doxato in Drama, northern Greece, died in a car crash on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred on the provincial road between Drama and Amphipoli, when the car of 70-year-old Themis Zekeridis, for reasons unknown, collided with the protective barrier on the road.

Turkish State Opera and Ballet ready for summer festivals
The General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet (DOB) will present world-famous opera and ballet works at international festivals in the summer, starting in Istanbul on June 10 and ending in Antalya on Sept. 21.
‘Don Giovanni’ at AKM
Within the scope of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet (IDOB) will present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' opera at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Theater Stage. One of the masterpieces of opera literature, the performance will be on stage on June 8 at 8 pm.

Social media favorite Anthimos Dagas, AKA Daganth, is showing a collection of his signature street photography, snapshots capturing small dramatic, unexpected, humorous or just plain bizarre moments in an otherwise mundane setting, at the Andora cinema in Ambelokipi.
