BELGRADE - Alongside over 2,500 exhibitors from around the world, Serbian food industry companies will make an appearance at the GULFOOD 2023 international food fair, to be held in Dubai from February 20 through 24.

DUBAI - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday a Serbia-UAE FTA was expected to be signed within three months and that the Serbian government would submit to the UAE its comments on a draft of the agreement during the day.

In a statement to Tanjug, Brnabic said the signing of a FTA would help boost bilateral economic cooperation, which she noted was definitely below the potential.

Yesterday at a ceremony in Tallinn, Estonia, BSMEPA received the award in the cross-border cooperation category of the International Trade Council's Go Global Awards!

The Go Global Awards recognize companies and organizations that drive the economy forward through their innovation, technology and strategic solutions.

In recent years, before the eyes of the Bulgarians, Dubai has turned from a tourist destination into a place where some people escape justice or find refuge for investments, the origin of which is not always known.

Dubai opened its Museum of the Future on Feb. 22, a spectacular structure it is touting as the world's most beautiful building.

The museum, a seven-storey hollow silver ellipse decorated with Arabic calligraphy of quotes from Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and thousands of meters of LED lights, takes pride of place on Sheikh Zayed Road, the city's main highway.

Dubai – The Slovenian pavilion at the Dubai Expo hosted a business forum of the country’s food processing industry on Monday. It was attended by Agriculture Minister Jože Podgoršek, who said that his visit to the United Arab Emirates was also about looking for new business partners.

Dubai – Interest among Slovenian businesses to get showcased at the Dubai Expo has been growing. The country’s pavilion has hosted around 400,000 individual visitors, more than 200 delegations and over 100 business events so far, Slovenia’s Expo commissioner Matic Volk said on Monday.

Economic ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey are growing stronger and offer great opportunities to establish new partnerships in different fields, especially trade and investment, the Emirati economy minister said on Nov. 23. 

Dubai – Agriculture Minister Jože Podgoršek met in Dubai on Tuesday Saif Mohammed Rashid Saeed al Shara, a high representative of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the UAE. The pair talked cooperation in agricultural and food products and the transfer of knowledge, especially in terms of cooperation of expert institutions.
