Acclaimed Greek-American actress Olympia Dukakis will be receiving a lifetime achievement award at the December 25 closing ceremony of the online Bridges International Film Festival of Corinth. The last day of the event will also include all-day screenings of its short-film selections, providing an overview of this year's offerings.

The 1988 Democratic US presidential nominee Michael Dukakis said in an interview on Thursday on Skai TV that President-elect Joe Biden is "a great friend of Greece and has always been."
