The Netherlands will require proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative coronavirus test for entry to bars, restaurants, museums, theatres and other cultural events from Sept. 25, as almost all social distancing measures are dropped.

Journalists on Monday were given a preview of an exhibition at the Athens Concert Hall titled "Van Gogh Alive - The Experience," which opens to the public on Thursday. The exhibition, which has already toured 35 cities around the world, enables visitors to explore the art and life of the troubled Dutch master during his most productive phase, from 1880 to 1890.

A European Union that goes to such lengths to express its relief and embellish situations so as to partially justify this relief probably doesn't trust the ideas, visions and values that are touted as being strong and dear to all its members.

Speculation has it that Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte needs to stem the flow of votes to far-right leader Geert Wilders in the upcoming elections, and this is why he is presently behaving the way he is with Turkey.
