Earthquake of 4.6 Magnitude in Northern Evia – Felt in Attica
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred on Monday in northern Evia.
According to the automated solution, the earthquake’s epicenter was located 7 km southeast of the village of Vasilika in Istiaia, with a focal depth of 5 km.
The tremor was strongly felt in northern Evia, even reaching as far as Athens.

Rhodes jolted by 4.2-magnitude tremor
A 4.2-magnitude earthquake shook part of the island of Rhodes, in the southeastern Aegean, on Thursday. No injuries or damages were immediately reported.
The earthquake occurred at 3.19 a.m. and, according to the preliminary reading of the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicenter was located 26 kilometers off the southwest coast of the island.

Earthquake 4,2 Richter off Rhodes
An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning off Rhodes.
The epicentre of the quake was located 26 kilometres southwest of Katavia and the focal depth was estimated at 28.8 kilometer, according to the revised solution of the Geodynamic Institute.
No damage was reported.

Earthquake 3,6 Richter south of Crete
A weak earthquake of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale, according to the automatic solution of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Institute (EMSC), occurred on Monday morning at 07:23 in the South Cretan Sea.
The exact epicenter of the tremor was located 50 km south-southeast of Heraklion, Crete.

Restoration of quake-hit Gaziantep Castle nears completion
The restoration work in the historical Gaziantep Castle, which was damaged during the Feb. 6, 2023 earthquakes, has been continuing uninterruptedly despite temperatures reaching 40 degrees in the city.
The work on the castle is slated for completion by the end of the year, with plans to reopen it to visitors soon after.
