The Association of Private Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations (OHSAD) has prepared the "Health Services Earthquake Preparedness Guide" with the aim of enhancing earthquake preparedness plans and measures across all hospitals in Istanbul.

An earthquake rattled the city of Patra and other areas in the Achaia region, western Greece at approximately 11.25 a.m. on Sunday. 

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the earthquake had a 3.2 magnitude and its epicenter was located 13 kilometers south of Kato Achaia town, Peloponnese.

Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Mehmet Özhaseki has stated that his ministry has completed all preparations of projects to be implemented against a potential large-scale earthquake in Istanbul and that it will unveil all projects within 10 days.

The earthquake was registered at 4:45 a.m. in the region of Petrovac on Mlava, 12 kilometers southeast of that place.
This earthquake was automatically recorded with a magnitude of 4.1 Richter, so that the final data was obtained by further processing, after the inclusion of another local measuring station.

Following the magnitude 5.1 earthquake on Dec. 4 that shuddered Türkiye's northwestern provinces, such as Istanbul and Bursa, an expert has warned that the country has far more fault lines in the region than detected.

A weak earthquake was felt in Burgas around 9:40 a.m. today. At the moment, the services do not report an earthquake registered in Bulgaria.

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake in the Marmara Sea rattled several northwestern provinces, including Istanbul and Bursa, the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has announced.

A moderately strong earthquake struck northwest Turkey on Monday, sending people out into the streets in fear. There was no immediate report of injuries or damage.

A magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck off the coast of the southern Philippines early Monday, the United States Geological Survey said, the latest in a slew of strong quakes all concentrated in the same area.

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit the island of Zakynthos on Thursday at 2.39 p.m.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the earthquake's epicenter was 31 kilometers southwest of the village Volimes in Zakynthos and had a 9-kilometer focal depth. 

No injuries or damages were reported.
