New Earthquake Shook Zagreb

A new 3.7-magnitude earthquake shook Zagreb this morning, according to the Index website. Its depth was 2 kilometers.

The quake lasted a few seconds, BTA reported. 35 earthquakes were recorded since yesterday.

A day ago, the Croatian capital was shaken by two other earthquakes, which caused serious damage.

A 6.2 Magnitude Earthquake Shook Indonesia's Tanimbar Region

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake shook the Indonesian Tanimbar region, Reuters reported.

The Agency cites a communication from the European Mediterranean Seismological Center.

According to the center, the depth of the earthquake is 49 km.

The Indonesia Geophysics Agency also said there was no tsunami potential from the quake.

Another Earthquake in Turkey

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake has occurred in western Turkey, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The earthquakes were recorded at 2.43 local time and the epicenter was located 89 kilometers northeast of the large city of Izmir and 56 kilometers northeast of Manisa. The quake occurred at a depth of seven kilometers below the surface.

New Strong Earthquake in Turkey

A new magnitude 5.8 earthquake has been reported yesterday near Iran's border with Turkey, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said quoted by Reuters.

The quake was at 2 km depth.

Earlier yesterday an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred in the same area.

75 people were injured in Iran. Most of them were not seriously injured.

Nine People Dead after the Earthquake in Turkey

At least nine people including three children are dead in eastern Turkey after an earthquake with its epicentre in neighbouring Iran, BBC reported.

At least 37 people were injured after houses collapsed, Turkey's interior minister said. 9 people were killed.

A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Iran near the border with Turkey this morning.

Strong Earthquake in Greece

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was registered in Greece on Thursday. The epicentre was in the Karditsa region, according to the Athens Institute of Geodynamics. The depth of the quake was 9 kilometers.

No material damage was reported.
