Greek-Chinese business relations set to expand

Agri-food, high technology, construction materials, medical equipment, medicines and cosmetics, biotechnology and health services are sectors of interest for the development of cooperation networks between Greek and Chinese companies, according to the conclusions of a visit by a Chinese delegation to the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA).

China, Greece explore deeper cooperation

Greek and Chinese officials and business representatives explored ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in shipping and trade during an investment event held in Piraeus on Tuesday.

The event was organized by Shanghai's Pilot Free Trade Zone Lingang Special Area at the premises of Piraeus Port Authority (OLP), a member of China's Cosco Shipping group.

Chinese delegation visits Athens

Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis met on Monday with a visiting 10-member Chinese delegation from the Shanghai Lin-gang Special Area.

With the delegation - which is on a four-day working visit - Fragogiannis discussed matters pertaining to investments and other mutual economic interests.

Chinese fund readies billion-euro project in Serbia

The fund is ready to secure around one billion euros for the purpose in the first stage, the Sino-RS company president, Jin Frank Li, has told Tanjug.

The idea is to establish a separate investment fund for financing transport, energy, telecommunications, agriculture and construction projects, with public-private partnership as one of the models, Li said.

Cultural ties with Shanghai to be featured on November 13

BELGRADE - A program dedicated to cultural cooperation between Shanghai and Belgrade will be held at the Studentski Grad Cultural Center in Belgrade on November 13, the organizers announced Monday.

Guests of the program will be a delegation of the city of Shanghai, led by Deputy Mayor Yin Chen, and the Ambassador of China in Belgrade Li Manchang.
