More than 1,000 People have Died from Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo

More than 1,000 people have died in an epidemic of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Agency refers to a statement from the DR Congo Health Ministry. According to it, 1008 people died of the virus, and the reported cases of disease were 1529.

Health worker with Ebola transferred to London hospital

A health worker who was the first person diagnosed with Ebola in Britain arrived at a London hospital from Scotland early on Tuesday for treatment after contracting the disease in West Africa.
   
The woman arrived at the capital's Royal Free hospital, Britain's designated Ebola treatment centre, in an ambulance accompanied by several police vehicles, a Reuters witness said.
