The World Economic Forum in Davos Begins Today
The World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort of Davos begins today, January 23rd and it will last until Friday.
In the last day a statement by US President Donald Trump is also scheduled.
A large-scale protest was planned against his participation today, but the authorities banned any demonstrations due to a heavy snowfalls.

The Irish Prime Minister Accused EU Countries of Being Hypocritical About Corporate Taxes
Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar blames the other EU countries today for hypocrisy over corporate tax, rejecting claims in the European Parliament that Ireland is a tax haven, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

EU adopts tax haven blacklist, British territories spared
European Union finance ministers adopted a blacklist of 17 jurisdictions deemed as tax havens on Dec. 5, in an unprecedented step to counter worldwide tax avoidance, although they did not agree on financial levies for the listed countries.

European Union finance ministers adopted on Tuesday a blacklist of tax havens which includes 17 extra-EU jurisdictions seen as not cooperative on tax matters, French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said.
20 Countries are on the Offshore Black List of the EU
More than 20 countries can be included in the EU's black list of tax havens, the Financial Times writes.
With the list, the EU will try to tackle aggressive tax evasion. A list of 25 countries is included in the list drawn up by the Code of Conduct Group (Taxation of Undertakings), which includes tax experts from the EU Member States.
Turkey to complete tax regulations, inclusion in EU blacklist out of question: Minister

Outsourcing Industry in Bulgaria with Two-digit Growth
For the seventh consecutive year, the outsourcing industry has double-digit growth and now accounts for 3.6% of Bulgaria's GDP. This is stated in the Report on the Bulgarian Outsourcing Industry 2017, prepared by the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association (BAA). The share of the services sector in GDP has grown steadily in recent years, with 2.8% in 2014 and 3.4% in 2015.
