Gov't receives triple warning

The Hellenic Fiscal Council and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) warned the government on Wednesday about the threat of stagnation in the economy without the implementation of reforms, along with the threat of fiscal problems in the future from state-guaranteed loans.

ATHEX: Concerned traders stay away from stock market

The Greek market is following with some concern the tug-of-war regarding the Greek debt talks, and traders were too reserved to give stocks enough momentum in any clear direction for yet another day on Tuesday. It appears that expectations of significant progress ahead of the June 15 Eurogroup are considerably limited.

ATHEX: European wind of growth fans Greek stocks

Helped on by the highs recorded in the market of London and Frankfurt, the Greek bourse started climbing back up on Tuesday, toward the 800-point mark it came close to last week.

The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index closed at 788.78 points, adding 0.83 percent to Monday's 782.32 points. The large-cap FTSE 25 index expanded 0.86 percent to 2,095.67 points.

The new TUSİAD is about women and technology

Ever since Erol Bilecik became president of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD), the institution has concentrated more on women's issues and technology. Of course, this is the observation of an outsider, as I really would not like to do injustice to the previous presidents. TÜSİAD has always been the leading institution when it comes to empowering women in the workforce.
