Greece is certainly grappling with greedflation, as exemplified by the exorbitant price of infant formula. The same multinational companies charge Greeks three times more than shoppers in Sweden for the exact same product.

Lobster pasta in troubled times
I don't know if you've noticed, but lobster pasta seems to be back on the menu in many places, back in vogue. The question is whether this means that we're also back to the good old days of abundance. Growth is good for the country and its citizens. Growth generates wealth and this should be the goal.

National elections were held on April 3 in both Hungary and Serbia. In Serbia, the parliamentary election coincided with presidential and local elections in 12 municipalities, including the capital, Belgrade.

The Ministry of Economy has put up for public debate a draft emergency ordinance that will legalize the "Farm-to-Fork" business model for a more sustainable food system which was rolled out in Europe, but which had been considered so far illegal by Romania's National Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC), Economy Minister Claudiu Nasui wrote on Facebook.

"I have a vague idea who will occupy ministerial seats, but I am not certain yet. I will discuss things with some people who entered the National Assembly. Next week I expect a session of the SNS presidency, and we'll go slowly from there.
