Parl't adopts lex specialis for Belgrade Waterfront project

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament has adopted a lex specialis for the Belgrade Waterfront project, which will govern the expropriation procedure and building permit issuance, prerequisites for implementing this project that will change the face of downtown area of the Serbian capital on the River Sava.

MPs discuss amendments to Belgrade Waterfront lex specialis

BELGRADE - Serbian MPs will discuss around 70 amendments to the Belgrade Waterfront les specialist on Thursday, which is expected to be followed by a voting on this draft law.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, who presented the project in the parliament on Tuesday, said that its construction is in the interest of the entire country.

BELGRADE - The Belgrade Waterfront project bears national importance because it will encourage modernisation and progress, not only in the capital, but in the entire country, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated on Tuesday elaborating on the lex specialis that should make room for the realisation of the project.

Parliament to discuss Belgrade Waterfront from April 1

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament will open its next session on April 1 when the agenda would include lex specialis on the Belgrade Waterfront project, the parliament released on Tuesday.

During the session scheduled by Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic, MPs will discuss the bill on inspection control filed by the Serbian government as the first point on the agenda.
