Bulgaria has frozen assets, property and bank accounts belonging to businessman and media owner Ivo Prokopiev, who said the state was trying to silence the country's independent media.

In the period January - October 2017 Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 15.9% in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 14 762.5 Million BGN.

In the third quarter of 2017 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices amounts to 26 990 million BGN. In Euro terms GDP is 13 800 million Euro or 1 948 euro per person.

Bulgaria in the Top 5 in the EU on Export Growth for the Period January-September
For the first nine months of the year, exports of goods from Bulgaria increased by 14% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to EUR 19.6 billion, which ranks us in the top five of the EU countries on this indicator.

Temporary Changes in the Timetable of the Trains Between Sofia and Pernik
From November 6 to December 9, temporary changes will be introduced in the movement of all trains that travel in the section between Sofia and Pernik. This is due to repair works on the railway, which will take place in the section between the ''Metal'' stop and ''Dragichevo'' station, BDZ announced.
Bulgaria Receives over EUR 2 Billion of the EU Budget in 2018
More than EUR 2 billion will be received by our country next year from the EU budget, sega reported. This became clear after the European Parliament approved the 2018 Union budget.
The budget provides for investment in research, scientific work, infrastructure, employment and handling problems with youth unemployment, as well as payments to farmers.
Bulgarian Exports to the EU Increased by 11.2% in the Period January-July 2017
In the period January - July 2017 Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 11.2% compared to the same period of 2016 and amounted to 19 468.7 Million BGN, according to data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
Main trade partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France and Belgium which accounted for 68.6% of the exports to the EU Member States.
The Bulgarian Railways Add Extra Seats to Services During Holiday Weekend
The Bulgarian Railway Company, "BDZ - Passenger Transport" EOOD, will provide additional seats over the bank holiday weekend which includes 22nd of September, the Independence Day, reported the Bulgarian National Television.
