Romanian, Moldovan central banks sign new Cooperation Agreement

The main and enduring message of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) for the National Bank of Moldova is that of a sustainable and robust partnership, BNR governor Mugur Isarescu said on Friday at the signing ceremony of the new Cooperation Agreement between the Romanian and the Moldovan central banks.

COVID-19 Pandemic Cuts Moldova’s Apple Exports in Half

Moldova's Custom Services said the volume of apple exports dropped in March 2021 by almost half compared to March 2020, from 30,000 to just 17,000 tons.

Moldova exported 39,000 tons of apples in April 2020 and 35,000 tons in May, but the exports dropped sharply in June 2020 to only 3,000 tons, according to the website east-fruits.com.
