About 700,000 eggs from Dutch farms implicated in a contamination scare have been distributed to Britain and some supermarket products have been withdrawn, the Food Standards Agency has said, quoted by the Guardian.

LONDON - Serbia ranks first in a global greenfield FDI performance index, shows an analysis published by the Financial Times.

Serbia scored 12.02 in the index - prepared by fDi Intelligence, a Financial Times data division - and the score "indicates that in 2016 it attracted more than 12 times the greenfield FDI that would be expected for an economy of its size," the daily said.

In May 2017 the harmonized index of consumer process increased by 1.4% compared to May 2016. The highest decrease was registered in 'Recreation and culture' - by 2.5%, according to data of the National Statistical Institute -NSI.

In first quarter of 2017 the house price index increase by 8.8% compared to same quarter of 2016.

Investments (gross fixed capital formation) formed 16.6% of GDP. The external balance (exports - imports) is negative.

In the first quarter of 2017 gross value added of the total economy rises by 1.2%.
